Director Martín Holzman (aka Holzman) spent years working behind the scenes as a treatment designer for some of the biggest commercial directors working in the comedy and automotive realm before striking out on his own. A graduate of the prestigious Film University of Buenos Aires, Holzman grew up in the working-class Jewish neighborhood of Villa Crespo, where he learned everything about humor. EVERYTHING. His short films have been screned at different film festivals around the world; he was awarded New Talent/Young director of the year in 2020, followed by different prizes like Ad&D and (most recently) the Cannes Lions.
