A comedy and storytelling specialist, director Sebastian Alfie got his start as an ad agency creative. After making the enormous leap to the other side of the camera, he honed a style based on a unique visual aesthetic and a careful attention to craft — all in the service of humor. He has worked hand in hand (and repeatedly) with some of the largest and most well-known brands in the world, including Coca-Cola and Volkswagen, across the United States and multiple global markets. He is a Clio and El Sol award winner, and his “40 Years of Tron” project for the world-renowned Sitges Film Festival (the annual film fest dedicated to fantasy and horror movies) just won the ADG Festival award. In parallel to his passion for directing ads, he’s also a skilled cinema director, with three feature-length films under his belt. He’s the director of HBO Max’s Diego: The Last Goodbye, detailing the last year in the life of soccer legend Diego Maradona.
